It's a really complicated process to be honest - there are some tutorials on how to do it, but it normal works on a point scoring system....the higher your score, the more listings you get in a search. You can only increase your site score by getting bigger sites to link to you. Having said that, if you can get your band name on the bigger sites directly (through blogs or forums etc) you'll get listed along with their site.

Well I dont know how much you know about building backlinks or traffic but there is this site were you can basically submit about 30 artilces to wordpress blogs with your specific target audience. Everytime you submit an articlie in this system you basically create up 60 links to your site or where ever you have your band info set up. You can try it out the link is below I have be using it for a few months and my traffic has be going up higher and higher everyday I have no conplaints.

Identify HOW you want people to find you in the search engines.

Boost your website for these keywords.

Write blogs about your keywords, and link them to your website.

You could look into affiliate marketing.

Host banners or text links on your site that go through to another site that sells something - you earn a percentage of the price paid for their product. The products would have to be relevant to your site of course or people won't bother clicking on the creative you have.

You could maybe start a blog about being a stay at home mum. When that starts getting traffic put a banner on that goes to a similar site that sells something etc etc etc

there are numerous ways to earn money online, but most of them require certain registration fee. if you wish to earn without investing anything, then i will suggest you PTC sites, where u get money to click advertisements.................. i myself is earning respectable side income from them. all you have to do is register and start clicking advertisements right away.

If you need extra money you should try working from home part time. Theres literally hundreds of different ways to do it online.

This is the interesting question Maria. Buying links for the Web site doesn't make any good sense. You can manually research and get free link backs.

Post the URL for your Web site in the blog or forum which has good PageRank.
1) Please make sure that the URL or the link from the purchased Web site has do follow tag.
2) Check the PageRank of the Web site or URL where you are placing the links.
3) Check whether the Web site is indexed in Search Engine.
4) The Page of the Web site where your link is placed shouldn't have too much outgoing links.

These are the main tips you need to follow. Please let me know if you need additional information.

I just checked my blog's backlinks at Yahoo Site Explorer. It's free. For every link to your site, you can click on "explore" and you will see its backlinks too. If a site linking to you has thousands of backlinks, that looks good, more so if these links also have thousands of backlinks.
